ABOUT US

DOSITEJ is a small, friendly English language studio in the city centre, just a short walk from Studentski Park. It was founded in 1990 and is the second private language school to have opened in Belgrade.

We offer courses in general English for pre-school and school children aged 5 - 18  and  young adults at all levels, from pre-school to Advanced English, as well as general and ESP courses for adult learners. The general courses comprise all levels from beginners to advanced (A1 – C2) including Cambridge Exam preparation – PET, FCE, CAE and CPE as well as IELTS and TOEFL, while ESP courses (which may be organised as a part of in-company training at company premises) include Business English, English for Diplomacy, Journalism and Medicine. All these programmes meet the standards of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Our teachers are dedicated professionals who remain true to their common belief that friendly and relaxed lessons and individual attention are but the best assistants in their teaching efforts. Very frequently, dositej is joined by visiting teachers – native speakers, an invaluable and indispensable addition to our staff.

The teaching materials are exclusively British and American and the lessons are designed to teach effective communication in everyday life and employment, as well as to give an insight into British, American and Australian cultures. Additionally, all the courses include placement testing, regular monitoring of students’ progress, final tests and level certificates.
